As you say I believe this is why many are waking up. It's because the internet is decentralized.

They're closing in though. They only control it when it becomes centralized, like when everyone goes to Fagbook and Gaggle. The key is to make sure children don't have the smartphones with them and learn healthy internet behavior. Block those social media sites on your routers. Door to door and face to face also help. People aren't trained to deal with the constant chirp of twatter and those others.

Something jogged my memory. There is a part in Mein Kampf where he talks about propaganda and his ideas on it. If I recall, it was to take it over for the good of the people to bring a sense of danger to their morality.

I interpret this as an antidote to the media subversion. Not that you make it go a way, or become immune. But, that you either replace it, or bring in something more urgent than what they are pumping out. In a way, gaslight harder than the people are currently gaslit to drive (or herd them) to safety.

Consider why people can't spank their children. They go to school and are taught scary things about climate alarmism and they obsess on it. Consider that people are indeed like cattle and while there are nefarious forces that herd us to our entrapment and enslavement, we can (as Shepards) also herd them. Parents do this, and sometimes it's necessary to just make a kid do something and work out the logic later.

We are moved by a carrot and stick more than we would like to admit at times and logic won't wake people up when the dopamine is strong elsewhere. We like to think we're super smart and can "talk it out" but imagine trying to rationalize quitting heroin to an addict in withdrawals. I know many middle age people that don't quit smoking (always "I'll quit tomorrow") until they get the "cancer scare."
