that's the great thing about having principles. life is simple when you've already made all of your decisions in advance. for instance, when i'm in an impossible situation, i do the best i can and try my best to teach the person who put me in that situation a lesson. that lesson being "i probably should have left this guy alone in the first place. the reward isn't worth the risk". even if i do someday die in that situation, hopefully my murderer thinks to himself "holy shit, i'm going to take up basket weaving instead of backing crazy fuckers like this into corners".
