I don't say anything but he keeps fucking pushing and its pushing me off. I am new, he has seniority so not like I can be honest. He is a black guy and not a nigger at all but the fuck am I gonna tell him that he is one of the few non niggers, the one in 10? Am I supposed to commiserate with him about evil raycists judging him and his porta Rican wife? Am I supposed to agree that Canada is so great for race mixing???? Fuck off I'm here to do a goddamn job and not talk about how great living in a multicultural nation is. Fuck you

Yeah that isn’t really appropriate work talk. Can you ask him to just stop? If he refuses you could talk to a supervisor? However being white and male will make this far less effective unless you buddy up to the boss first.

I'm going to talk to him about it tomorrow as I don't believe he us doing it in a malicious way but he is probably used to white cucks who agree with him. I don't like confrontation and avoid it when I can but third time is the charm. The boss would show me the door probably as turnover is huge there anyways

No need to confront him on it. Just let him know that he's talking too much about the same shit over and over, when there's work to be done. Maybe he's baiting you and he'll stop with the jibber-jabber.

Well good luck man I hope it works out.

He is way out of line pushing that shit on you in the workplace. Have a man to man conversation with him. After thinking about exactly how and what you should say. Calmly explain that you don't want to hear about his views on race and other political things. It isn't suitable for the workplace and that is all it has to be about. We're at work so let's work. You can have a work relationship but that is it.

I am planning on addressing it tomorrow as I am tired of it. Like you said it needs some planning

It sucks bringing up workplace conflict. I have always employed a lowest level first tactic but it hasn't always led to the best outcome. If you feel you have to go right to an immediate supervisor, do so. Put the responsibility on their shoulders. It wouldn't be a repremandable offense so he shouldn't get in trouble. But it would force the supervisor to think of what and how to say it. And the behavior is sure to stop.

Nah construction supervisor wouldn't give a shit. I'll talk to him tomorrow and hopefully that resolves it

Be prepared, he's gonna call you a racist

I want to believe he is an exception to the rule but I won't be shocked.

You've got a bigger problem then a black supervisor who seems to be progressively loosing his marbles. Keep your head down, treat the guy with courtesy and focus on being proficient in your job. Collect your pay, pay off your debts, build up your savings. Then focus yourself on learning skills that can net you a bigger paycheck, ideally in a field that blacks likely don't pursue entry. Whatever field you're in, if a black guy is there, then it's safe to assume some females maybe as well. If this is the case the job, or field is probably a few years away from obsolescence. Make your gains and get the hell out before the layoffs begin.
