There may be subtle differences, but them differences are slight. The NeoCons are basically expat democrats that migrated (infiltrated?) into the Republican Party because their democrat party was not quite conservative enough for them. They were the moderates and conservatives of the democrat party, but now they are the liberals of the Republicans, and like all liberals, are intent on takeover.
