I took my old uncle on an extensive tour of an old ww2 victory ship, and also to the local motorcycle shop and then also to a place that restores old British cars. It was pretty great.
Sounds like you would love Barber Vintage Motorsports Museum in Birmingham Alabama. I have spent many an hour there.

But there were four Vincents, a few Ariels, a ton of Triumphs, and a bunch of rather nice harleys at this shop, so it was fun. Then he struck up a conversation with the owner for forever, and that was cool. So yeah.
