Her interest in the supernatural and occult is very interesting to her and so she's kind of become a detective herself, trying to figure out who's pulling the strings and what's really going on." While the details of the show are still in development, the producers are looking to incorporate elements of fantasy, history, magic and the supernatural into their story. "Our premise is a modern girl going back to a Victorian era, sort of looking for the ghosts she saw in her childhood and trying to solve the mystery with her best friends," said executive producer and writer Alexi Hawley. "It's very much a supernatural and a gothic romance at its core. But we also want to explore a world that's kind of very modern. We want to be very present in a time where the world is changing so rapidly and our show will reflect that
