I want to read some Jew books when I get done with the Koran, like the Zohar. The reason I'm reading the Koran is purely to see what they say about Jews.
. I'm curious, you're not a native English speaker, but I think you're European. Dutch or German?
Doesn't really matter who "I" is
The hard part with "judaism" ... https://i.ytimg.com/vi/-SehUT7sPGU/maxresdefault.jpg
Is that you could very well spend your whole life studying it and not get any meaningful insight out of it
Because you have the different sub groups/denomination, you have the political branches like zionism, you have the ahteist jews but still jews, you don't get atheist christians or muslims for isntance, but beyond that, interpretation (of talmud/oral torah since mainstream judaism is based on talmud not written torah/old testament) varies according to "political" context, there are two plans of reality; One when the jews dominate their surroundings, one when they do not. When they don't they are nice. When they do it's open bar on the goyim.
