The whole point is for everyone who enjoys homemade music to get together and just chill for a few hours. It isn't about site loyalty or dislike, personalities or political agendas, just the unifying power of music.

We'd welcome any instrument, any skill level to just come have a good time listening and sharing with some very talented artists and just have a good time. Sing us a song, bang on some pots and pans, surprise us with an uncommon instrument, we'd like to hear what you enjoy.

The FNGT starts at 8pm et every Friday night over on Voat in v/guitar and is fairly active for several hours, and stays open until the next Friday night.

So come be a Rock Star for the evening, or just come listen to them. Record a track and share it this Friday. Be there or be square.

Come be part of something you love instead of the things you hate. It's good for the soul.

guitars are dirty-gypsy instruments... try a more sophisticated asian/caucAsian instrument like a cello, viola, upright bass, violin...and live an enriching life!!!

While I don't agree with your initial statement, we would love to have some of the others you mentioned. In fact we have had cello and an excellent original, concert-level violin performance just last week. E: We've also had compositions performed from Bach, Brahms and Mozart, as well as bagpipes. Sounds to me like you're just intimidated by people who have put in the dedication and discipline to pursue a passion of worth.

But I suspect you don't play any instrument anyway. Prove me wrong by showing up with what you got.

Since you didn't provide anything other than an unsubstantiated opinion to support yours, I saw no need.

I'm under the impression this invitation may not be something you'd enjoy and you don't feel the need to attend. If you can play nicely with the others you still are welcome. Somehow I don't think we'll be expecting you.
