You wake up from your nap. You've been dozing in the back of your limo on the way to the interview the night of your election for mayor of your city. Your head feels cloudy, the late nights free basing cocaine with prostitutes is starting to catch up to you. Your campaign head looks over and hands you a xanax and a glass of vodka. "The polls show us neck and neck with our opponent. A good showing could clench it, so just stick to the talking points and we have this in the bag." As he finishes talking he hands you a file with talking points and you see the venue through the window as your limo slides up next to the entrance.
I want to drink the vodka, save the Xanax and review my talking points. I also want to remind my campaign head to continue the plan for my fake attempted assassination. I need the pity votes.
I feel I have read enough and wish to enter the building.
The vodka goes down smooth and you feel your head beginning to clear. You read through the talking points as your campaign head confirms the assassination attempt plan. Straightening your tie you step out of the limo and walk inside.
Backstage an aide hands you aanotjer glass of vodka as your introduction begins. With a smile you step out on the stage and up to the podium. A packed crowd of about 18 people and a wall of cameras infront of you.
I won't drink again. I need a clear head so I can imply my opponent is racist and homophobic. I'm promising unions the moon and the stars. I'll never give it to them in reality, but promises are fun. Also, diversity is our strength. I shall take 3 questions after my speech.
