You would hate your mother if she was a psycho that convinced you to move in with them to save money on rent and help with your newborn baby, but then gave you 1 hour to get the fuck out because her boyfriend left the gate open, the dog ran away, and she thought you did it. So you have to make multiple trips to your grandparents place to dump your shit that is sitting on the lawn in front of her house while your wife waits with the poor baby.
Also, forbidding her children from seeing their grandparents because the grandparents wouldn't buy her [another] house. My brothers are dependant on my mother for a place to live, so they haven't seen their grandparents (one's now blind) for years. Add me that list too because "my wife tried to turn my brothers away from my mother's side".
But that's nothing compared to attempted suicide, being rushed to hospital, and then, during recovery, dropping the line "what would make me feel better is if we sued my ex-husband for his retirement savings (401k / SUPER)"...
That bitch can rot in hell. Along with her boyfriend that she sold 50% of the family house (that my father built and paid for) to. Neither I, nor any of my siblings are inheriting anything when that cunt croaks, and considering how her boyfriend encourages this cancer addled woman to drink, smoke and get hopped up on oxy like no-one's business, that's not too far away.

But for what it's worth, I post things to both voat (when I have access) and poal. I've found poal to be more engaging, it moves a lost slower. Voat always has new shit, but the replies and conversations just aren't there.

I experience a similar feeling. The internet is terrible and it's filled with irritating people. Everyone just circlejerks about their interest of the moment; all mouth and no ears. Tragic.
That said, at least internet randos don't break into your friend's house at 11:30 on a sunday evening, forcing you to get the gun and the cricket bat and go cruising the bad side of town in search of suspiciously wealthy suspicious characters and an altercation.
So it's a bit of a mixed bag, the old information superhighway.
