Elderly lose their ability to be cynical. People over 80 are the worst at being skeptical of scammers. That's not really stupidity so much as it's just old age. One can point out how so many Millennials fell for the college loan scam, and say they were stupid. Okay. Maybe they were, or their GenX parents were. Every age group is full of idiots.
