As far as I know you can still VPN out of China right now.

Which VPN? All locations are down for ExpressVPN at least.

I'll check with my friend at least as of last night I know he was able to get out.

Ah, fair enough. It was working fine last night, and these last couple days. Went down for me around 6 hours ago.

Not much anyone can do about it except the VPN company I guess. At least it's on a work day and not weekends, so they should have more people to help fix the problem.
