I started biking to work last Wednesday. I plan on doing this every day(weather permitting) mon-fri. I wanted to figure out exactly how far this was, so I downloaded a fitness app this morning. 7.72 miles, 9.2 mph avg speed, 50 minutes. If I do this 5 days a week all summer my legs are going to get shredded(they feel shredded now). I want to get by that time down some.

The fats at work look at me like Im MAD, bwahahaha

Excellent! Good for you that you live so close to work you can do that. It's the best way to fit exercise into your workday.

How are you going to deal with the sweat issue? Showers at work?

No showers at work. It might sound fucked up, by we have a bunch of single unit restrooms. I just kinda do a bit of a whores bath in there, and I bring an extra shirt to change into. It's not ideal, but it works. It's a small manufacturer, and the floor has a shitty AC. So if the day is hot everybody gets a bit sweaty anyway. And no one much cares.

The mornings have been mostly cool.

Nah, sounds pretty normal. I've had employers who've had showers in their work, and it works out for me since I get into work before everyone else. But it sounds like a workable situation for you.

Yeah I've worked where there were showers. But that was a really large campus for an IT company

How's the evening ride home?

It's warm right now. But that's alright, it's supposed to cool off a bit. About half of my ride is along a dedicated bike path through a park. It winds along next to a river. There are ducks and geese and a couple cranes. This morning I saw a baby skunk and a couple coons(the non nigger kind). There are people in sculls and kayaks. The mornings are really very pleasant. The ride home is ok, just a little warm, but I don't mind. https://imgoat.com/uploads/def184ad8f/124670.jpg https://imgoat.com/uploads/def184ad8f/124671.jpg https://imgoat.com/uploads/def184ad8f/124672.jpg https://imgoat.com/uploads/def184ad8f/124673.jpg https://imgoat.com/uploads/def184ad8f/124675.jpg
