East Central MO: Doodly-squat going on here so far. Depending on the prognosticator, could be nothing or 14 inches of snow with some good old fashioned Missouri ice storms thrown in for good measure. Larder is stocked, back up water supply stowed and I dug out my crampons. Bring it.

Edit: 11AM Sunday and we've got about an inch of glazed over ice crystals so far.

From what I can tell no, the reports were all in relatively populated residential areas on new years night. The same kind of holiday where people like to light off fireworks.
