I can imagine the look on my face when he rapped off five rounds super fast. He was normally so reserved being an ex deputy Sherriff and when he let those rip with a big smile it was really awesome. Its my second favorite gun because of that day. My first is 10/22, well because its the best gun ever.

Look into the ruger custom shop 10/22's "custom" gun right from the factory. The green laminate one is amazing....to look at and shoot! They are in the competition section of the ruger page and are pretty cheap considering what you get.

I appriciate, but importing one would be a pain and it would end up costing more than I'm willing to pay for a .22lr, even though I really wanted a Ruger 10/22.

I'm getting a CBC 7022, a clone/copy of a Mossberg (I think) .22 magfed rifle, with a nice wood stock and a chinese no-name scope.

For a little over $100 USD, I think that was a good deal.
