An Inquisitorial redaction? Careful with that heresy lest you become a dilation Servitor. Following this sub now. I have never painted a miniature or even handled a game piece. I haven't even read any of the books. Yet, somehow, I find that I have learned and know a fuckton about WH40K.
Shit didn't even see this post.
I totally thought the same then when I read Pariah. There is another book in the series which I have missed (and you may have) called The Magos came out in 2018 (Pariah came out in 2012) which is a collection of short stories which I think ties eisenhorn/ravenor and the gap between them and the bequin books.
Probably worth checking out. I haven't yet but it's on my list :-)
I read it, though it was a year or two ago. I don't remember anything detailing what happened. I know the pod was on the rogue trader vessel Hinterlight that Ravenor used. It seems odd that a vessel specifically designed for stealth would just up and vanish. It reads like they went off the radar when Ravenor went rogue during the Pariah series but I don't know.
Maybe he still has it and is going to use it as leverage against Eisenhorn in the last book.
Do you think it's worth checking out?
The other thing was how/why the squad got split up, like I get Eisenhorn can be seen as a heretic/chaotic good etc.
Yeah could be leverage or somehow ties into the clone world run by Valdor
Will just have to wait and see in another few years or so
>Do you think it's worth checking out?
Yeah absolutely. Some of the stories are slow (or repeats of ones there were already out there) but I can think of at least three off the top of my head that are great. The penultimate story is really good too.
