Doubtful it would work, with everything tech related being made in India. Only the truly brainwashed would sign up for such foolishness. Also, the better way for any tech based implants like this to work would be to have them powered by the body, itself. No batteries equals less invasive equals better sales. Or, it would be forced upon the population. Forced equals a whole new can of worms.
