All this started with Janet Reno, by coincidence a bull-dyke in the Carter Administration. Remember 50 MPH speed limits and 5 MPH car bumpers? Probably you don't, because most of you aren't old enough, but I do. It was the start of the intrusion of the Nanny State into our lives. As the years went on the intrusion became greater and greater, until now they are telling us what words we can use, and who we are supposed to hate and ostracize based on their political beliefs. There was no good reason to ban the incandescent light bult, but it got banned anyway (but not completely -- I just bought some the other day). There is no good reason to force everyone to drive electric cars, but they are going to try to do it.
