Browsing the Costco sub reddit today I saw a post about green meat in the chicken they bought. Other posters noted it and it is a reality from factory farming and animal cruelty. One subreddit poster said they had worked at a meat factory contracted by Costco and they were unbelieveably cruel and did everything possible to maximize output and minimize costs. Green flesh occurs from animals growing too fast and extreme stress causing the flesh to literally necrose in situ. Of it's perfectly okay to eat, right? Right.
