The correct way is 是的 without a full stop. That's one of the way to know when someone used a non-human translation. ;)
It's just a more colloquial way of answering, it's like responding with "yeah". Machine translation would probably translate it to 是的.

I guess 喺啊 would be used. But I'm not good at typing the characters in the way Cantonese would say it. More used to pinyin.
