As a side note, I was looking through the history of The Sisters of Mercy, and for a short time in late 1985 the band got completely disbanded, until it was revitalized and came stronger than ever two years later with the new member - Patricia Morrison, who was exactly the same type and an iconic figure in goth subculture.
