Nothing gets converted to protein. Protein is utilized by our body. Our bodies are better at utilizing the complete proteins that are always found in meat than they are at processing the usually incomplete proteins found in plants. It is pretty simple and you are being a retard.

This is getting pretty retarded because you agree but are splitting hairs on definitions. You can get protein from plants but your body has to create it with the nutrients from the plants that are separated, if that wasn't true grass eating cows wouldn't have any protein. Meat comes with complete protein that needs no conversion, the animal you are eating already converted the nutrients into protein from the plants it ate. Plants don't contain protein but you can get protein from plants, saying there is protein in plants is dishonest but so is saying you cannot get protein from plants.

Eating meat is a shortcut to the nutrients, it all comes from plants to begin with but cows can act as machines that build protein from grass for you so you don't have to produce it yourself. What I'd be interested in knowing is the effect translation has on your body, is it positive or negative? If the act of translating nutrients into protein exhausts you and becomes inefficient then it's not good for you. If it drains out certain chemicals in the process then it could be a necessary process. I don't know the answer but I'd be interested in that.

I don't know either, but my experience says yes. As I said earlier, I feel a lot better with meat in my diet. I will add, especially red meat. I got really disgusted with big ag for a while and basically ate no meat to speak of for 5 years. Sometimes friends would give us venison. Now we have our own animals.
