That's archived, but I want to suggest if you have Linux, to use yt-dlp to download videos. For best results, you will want to use the --cookies flag with a .txt file containing exported browser cookies for the sites that force that shit on you. I can't advise how to make the cookies.txt file since I've been using the same one for ages. Suffice it to say it's a one-and-done type of thing.

For streaming sites where yt-dlp doesn't work, a browser extension called "Video DownloadHelper" is the only thing I've found which works, but use at your own risk since it's probably spyware, TBH.

Normalcy bias is powerful. I cognitively know and see all the signs that I'm going to live through the American holodomor, or civil war 2, or ww3 and I still can't make myself disconnect fully. That shit highly flammable and explosive. They were hoping to avoid a large explosion by leaking the chemicals into a ditch and having a slow burn. In theory, this leads to a more efficient burn and the the toxic chemicals in the air will disperse quickly. That didn't happen though, and there was still a decent explosion and massive burn. I wouldn't want to be anywhere at least 10 or 20 miles downwind.
