It's amazing when you bring this up with people, often "highly educated" people with legit degrees and legit careers. Usually their eyes gloss over as they cannot follow what you're saying and they simply start rewatching yesterday's TV episode in their head. Or best case they follow but shrug it off because they don't understand what it actually means and they think it's harmless. The percentage of people who don't understand how money is being weaponized is just disgusting.
