The insane and the thugs have always been here. The 'difference' is, when i was young ( 50s and 60s) every MAN would physically assault or shoot Anyone attempting to harm a child without needing to call 911 and without fear of 'prosecution' from liberal courts. THAT is called Civilization. The False idea of law enforcement being Able to Protect the citizen and taking that ability away from Adults, gives the criminal a free pass.
