Terrible story and it happened in Texas. Deranged "mother" got custody of her kids and is going to mutilate her son. She is moving to California where that kind of stuff is allowed, and the courts in Texas did nothing to prevent it.
Letters on paper wont protect your family and courts wont protect them either. The only thing that will stop this is people taking the necessary actions to make sure it wont. No reasonable person would hold it against the father for doing whatever is necessary to protect his son.
