Why not just go and knock at their windshield to wake them up before it's too late?
I got an update on the story. The guy who took the video's kind of a jerk. I know the dude and he told her it was okay to camp there. He has been there a bunch of times and she asked him if it was okay and he said yeah. So he's a complete jerk for not knocking on her door when he saw what was happening. She lost a propane tank, her throw mat and a bunch of chairs. It all either sank in the water or floated away. She was able to drive away, so that's at least good. Very shitty of him to not help out his fellow man.
I know the dude
I wish I did.
I asked him the same question. It's a funny video but it's not because this person's day just got completely shittier if they get stuck. Which in turn will screw his day up because then he's got a deal with that person being stuck. Getting a tow truck down on the beach, maybe even having to move because he's in the way of the tow truck. So it is kind of a lose-lose scenario.
