Of all the deadly sins, pride is the only one that has been embraced wholeheartedly as a virtue in modern times. This should give you pause for thought. Maybe you are wrong to assume that pride is a good thing. Maybe all the bullshit by the Jews in the 1960s, talking about "black pride," was wrong-headed. Maybe instead of pride we should have humility and thankfulness in victory. Did the ancients get it so wrong, to make pride a deadly sin? Or are we in modern times so royally fucked in the head, that we believe a sin to be a virtue?

Pride isn't a real sin anymore than eating is a sin. GLUTTONY is a sin, because one has consumed an unjustified quantity of food.

POMPOSITY, is a sin. Defned as an excess of pride, or unjustified pride. But justified pride is a positive thing.
