RSO is an unhealthy version of an actual medicinal extract. It uses IPA as the solvent. Real medicinal oil is extracted using strong ethanol (150 proof or more).

He never claimed to invent cannabis extracts. But he was the first to popularize full spectrum extracts for treating the cancer itself directly. He went on record and took a lot of heat after he cured his own skin cancer with RSO.
In any case, he didn't do this for money.

Unfortunately it isn't.
RSO is extracted with IPA (isopropyl alcohol). That's the original method. And it's still what you find if you search how to make it. As a topical it's fine. I'm not arguing efficacy. But it is also recommended to eat, and or smoke RSO, which is not fine nor is it healthy.

I see where you're coming from, and I don't disagree with the point you have raised, but this is really only an issue if you don't purge off the isopropyl properly.
It's like saying BHO is unsafe because of the butane. But as long as you purge properly, then there shouldn't be any significant residue in the oil itself.
