Any operation has it's long term side-effects. I'm waiting for the Lasik long term effects to come through.
I've felt the same way about Lasik. The eyeball is probably the most complex part of your body, next to your brain. Something about using a laser to reshape your cornea just doesn't sit right with me.
On top of that, the Bates Method literally works and anybody claiming it doesn't has never tried it.
Wouldn't want all those (((opthalmologists))) to lose their jobs.
Had to look up the Bates Method and was immediately met with a Wikipedia article discounting everything he's ever published. With only minimal digging it was clear he was at least on to something.
Some of the techniques he mentioned are just downright stupidity - like sungazing. If getting sunburned on your skin is a thing, then being burned inside the eyes is going to cause damage too.
I'm legally blind without my glasses. I've been pressured for as long as I can remember to get Lasik but I've always vehemently said 'no way in hell.' I already can't see without my glasses and it can be scary at times. I am not willing to risk what vision I have.
I heard of haloes and dry eyes so bad that people lose their jobs and suicide. Glasses suck but they are certainly tolerable. A permanent change to your eyes is scary.
Maybe you finally be able to see through bullshit
