I've felt the same way about Lasik. The eyeball is probably the most complex part of your body, next to your brain. Something about using a laser to reshape your cornea just doesn't sit right with me.
On top of that, the Bates Method literally works and anybody claiming it doesn't has never tried it.
Wouldn't want all those (((opthalmologists))) to lose their jobs.
Had to look up the Bates Method and was immediately met with a Wikipedia article discounting everything he's ever published. With only minimal digging it was clear he was at least on to something.
As a stranger on the internet with no reason to lie to you, I'm telling you from personal experience that the things he was talking about are true and work.
Some of the techniques he mentioned are just downright stupidity - like sungazing. If getting sunburned on your skin is a thing, then being burned inside the eyes is going to cause damage too.
Sounds like you're speaking from inexperience.
Have you tried looking at the sun at dawn or dusk?
