I've felt the same way about Lasik. The eyeball is probably the most complex part of your body, next to your brain. Something about using a laser to reshape your cornea just doesn't sit right with me.

Had to look up the Bates Method and was immediately met with a Wikipedia article discounting everything he's ever published. With only minimal digging it was clear he was at least on to something.

I'm legally blind without my glasses. I've been pressured for as long as I can remember to get Lasik but I've always vehemently said 'no way in hell.' I already can't see without my glasses and it can be scary at times. I am not willing to risk what vision I have.
