There was a lot of people that died or went missing early in bitcoin too, and they would talk about in the forums.

My favorite bizarre theory was that Satoshi was so upset when he ragequit the bitcoin community, that he cast a curse that would affect anyone that used bitcoin to make themselves rich at the expense of others. There have been several billionaires that have died, and many bitcoin scam artists that ended up in jail.
