I didn't even have to click the link to know it was about Traction Park. The place was insane. I can't believe we went there as kids. Multiple times!

Fuck yeah, although it was the 70s for me.

For me it was the late 60's to early 70's. At the age of 9 I rode a mini-bike through a three strand barbed wire fence. Got rolled up in the wire like a burrito. Took me until well after dark to get myself out of it again, because nobody knew where I was. The experience, though painful was one of many that helped mold, shape and build my character and taught me the value of calculating risk.

Dunno bro that park looks badass

They need to reopen this place but with a disclaimer: You will sign a waiver. You will probably end up in the hospital.

I think it would still make money. There's a crowd out there who would enjoy near brushes with death.

Lock the door and fine people for entering, with a wink. The joo laws would still hold them liable, because you have to keep people out or you're responsible, even if they climb a fence.

Now that's fun. Go carts with the same power and speed as regular automobiles. Power boats in the bumper-boat ride. White-water kayaking! High dives. And that murder ball that flew off its track and across a highway with some poor slob inside it. I would have gone just to see the blood.

When I was a kid in the '80s we went to a place with gas-powered bumper cars that hit hard enough to knock your helmet clean off your head.

The tank ride is genius. Sort of like Killdozers. It had no injuries. The only problem was some idiot lighting the tennis balls on fire which could have been immediately ended.

No shit, that was the best of all, specially the guy who shot flaming lighter-fluid drenched tennis balls. And no injuries on that one either apparently.

Ah the scars from the alpine slide. If you didn't bleed you didn't go all out . Greatest place on earth . Countless trips. Late 70's early 80's mostly for me

It's not in China?
