There’s no such thing as an “assault rifle.”
Just because the U.S. Government routinely uses them as such to install hegemonic power around the world, does not make it the express purpose.
Just going off of the definition which includes a selective fire option. Normal people cant grasp the difference between the two let alone how our judeo-government uses them.
By that definition, selective fire with an option for burst or full auto, is already illegal and has been for many decades.
They want to ban semi-automatic rifles. It’s what they mean by “assault weapon.”
Yes, thats exactly why my original comment said the average person will never own an "asssault rifle" based on that definition.
You are incorrect on the legality of select fire, it is not covered by the NFA. Full auto is the mode that requires an NFA Stamp, but it is not illegal to own a fully auto machine gun manufactured pre 1986.
