Just don't find liberal social commentary funny. I'm more of a fan of slapstick style comedy. Like, if someone was to start slapping him in the head with a stick, I'd watch that.

By that definition, selective fire with an option for burst or full auto, is already illegal and has been for many decades.

Yes, thats exactly why my original comment said the average person will never own an "asssault rifle" based on that definition.

You are incorrect on the legality of select fire, it is not covered by the NFA. Full auto is the mode that requires an NFA Stamp, but it is not illegal to own a fully auto machine gun manufactured pre 1986.
