Because stop acting like every straight couple is a leave it to beaver family. There are many worse than shit parents who are the types of “wholesome” families you are thinking about. Who said man-woman marriages work well? Walsh admits as much in the video. Do you think marriage is some panacea? It's necessary but not sufficient to ensure healthy offspring.
