But seriously, folks, I've seen women who on first meeting, seemed gorgeous, but after listening to their constant bitching, complaining and playing the victim became a real eyesore after awhile. On the other side of the coin, some rather plain women got on my good side by having a level head and making sense, and were a joy to behold.
It used to be worse. Way back when internet dating was still kind of new, it was often impossible to tell how women actually looked. Pictures were often low resolution pictures of other pictures where other people had clearly been cut out. Every fattie would have the one angle that kind of looked flattering, or put up a picture that was out of date. And sometimes gorgeous women would just have a shit picture because everyone wasn't an amateur photographer like nowadays.
I did something crazy back in the day...I would talk to woman I met in real life and find ones to date that way.
Oh man, craigslist during the bush years. More than half the time it was a catfish on some level but at least you got a reason to go out and do something even if you nope'd immediately. Online today is now a complete waste of time, basically just data harvesting 80% of men.
Yeah, at least it was easy to find a date and people were generally more willing to give it a shot. Sure, most of the women were just looking for a free meal at a nice restaurant, but sometimes it worked out anyways.
