2500 kW/h per month is not "totally fucking normal" it's extremely high. It's about 10x the household average in the UK pre-covid. I had no idea Americans waste that much money due to their temperature fragility lmao. What are they going to do when things get really bad and they can't use their AC anymore?
The UK doesn't have AC because the climate is completely different you knobhead. Look up the word latitude.

It got to 115F here for almost a week in places in California recently. That is why we have AC. I was working partially outside during that time and your body just cant keep up cooling if you do anything.
