There is no evidence it is a myth. The entire basis for the claim it's a myth is that it supposes a high civilization which people claimed is impossible. Except now we have overwhelming evidence ancient high civilizations existed all over the world and from a common group of people. There is evidence it existed like a strong written record and many advanced structures.
