Do you remember where he sourced the meat? If he was just eating it raw from the supermarket from animals raised in mass production farms, I'm surprised he didn't die the same day he first ate it.
Maybe it's not the fact that he was eating raw meat that upset (((them))), but the fact that he was probably eating mostly red meat and didn't suffer from clogged arteries and hearth problem, which was propaganda they were pushing back then.
