Two people fall from the 17th floor one year apart, Carlos is the first to hit the ground.
Again two arguments happening here and your not getting it. I get it, you admire Carlos, but you really need to put your feelings for Carlos aside and think a bit about what I'm saying. I'm not refuting that a guy living on the streets will find living on the streets a lot easier than someone who is not living on the streets. I agree, he is resourceful and hardy, traits you admire that you presume people you know nothing about lack. We aren't in disagreement over that. My argument isn't that I could do what he does better than him, I never said or implied that. My argument is that what ever global financial calamity that would leave me and my family homeless would have probably destroyed the homeless population long before I became destitute. A situation where food supplies are exhausted would mean zero waste and high prices. If there were any waste to get out of a bin others would be all over it selling it on the black market. He would be the first to starve, he doesn't fish or farm, his means of survival relies on living off the goods discarded by a wealthy society, when that wealth is replaced by poverty he will have to adapt another way, and even if he would be successful he would need to contest with wicked people trying to take whatever he has without secure shelter or means to defend himself.
Frankly he is dead by the time I'm him. Now you could argue that he would survive in that specific scenario longer than I would if we were in that situation at the same time, and you would probably be right. He's done it for 20+ years. But I have already conceded that with my other points. You are literally arguing for something I have agreed with but your too stupid to realise that because of your obsession with Carlos.
Honestly I think you are just projecting here, either your indirectly admitting you know you wouldn't cope or you have been destitute like Carlos and identify as him and you are now projecting your anger on to me. Whatever reason it is I don't care anymore, I have made my argument several times now and you are still yet to respond and have just jewed your way around my argument.
