oh you already know they'll never admit they were wrong. they'll say "they were following experts/the science" and talk about how they cared more than you and they still retain the moral high ground. even though all most of us with a functioning brain said is something to the effect of "get it if you want, but you shouldn't be forced" meanwhile they got to call us anti-science, selfish murderers for 18 months+. Even when we're vindicated we'll have to be the bigger person and not rub it in their face too much so we can all move on with our lives, even though that's all we wanted to do in the first place.
