Just because something CAN be faked doesn't mean it is fake. It doesn't mean it isn't faked, either. In other words, proving that something can be faked doesn't affect its veracity. I can make a fake movie of me piloting a commercial airliner. That doesn't mean footage of people piloting commercial airliners is fake.
