Not at all. I'm in Oklahoma. I don't even go out and start watching until it's at least an f2.

Nebraska here, the sirens just mean it's time for beer on the porch!

That pup was just playin' with a dust devil. Same as I'd have done at that tots age. Neither of us would have know better.

You're not a dog though. The two humans had no acknowledgement whatsoever. Totally oblivious.

You didn’t grow up I’m the south, did you?

That’s a dust Devil; it’s completely harmless.

It's crazy here in TX, after corn harvest larger dust devils pull the shucks off the ground up to several hindred feet off the ground. Looks cool!

I didn't grow up in the south... my point was how the dog thought it was dangerous and the infants were oblivious.

I was sitting at a stoplight one day. Across the road at a store with a dirt parking lot, a dust devil formed. It was a good 10-15-footer. A young mother picked up her little kid and tried to get to her car. The dust devil seemed to chase her. She zigged, the dust devil zigged. She zagged, the dust devil zagged just like it was messing with her. Call me a mean girl, but I laughed my ass off.

I bet where ever the lady ran made an area of low-pressure air behind her that the dust deviled was pulled too.

Seen a child get picked up by one of these at a public pool when I was young
