Sometimes I wonder.

Just go work for the gov't and see for yourself but I don't recommend it. Advanced tech never comes from the gov't but the gov't is pretty good at screwing up technical advances.

Well stated and I agree 100%, I just meant more along the lines of if you're a government agent and want to go rogue, it's much simpler for them than the average Joe.
