Duh. Why else are UFOs are saucer shaped and spin?
Seriously though, the whole drone becomes an airfoil. I wonder if just using larger propellers that move at slower speed would have a similar effect on power efficiency.

It should be possible to attach a surveillance camera and still be able to extract a stable image with some post processing
