I hope I live long enough to witness how other, unenumerated, technologies monkeywrench his cleverly laid plans... He says 'for', yet I hear 'to'... Probably me being comfortable with my cynicism.
The artificial divisions of the modern era into X number of industrial revolutions is fallacy, human progress has been a continuum of the successful competition of ideas. The marketplace of ideas has never been sustained by the type of top down control this shitbag or his acolytes fantasize about, and historic examples of top down control in the marketplace of ideas have all proved detrimental to those who were subjected. Humans are animals, very clever animals. Revolutions of human industry have occurred as ideas have entered the marketplace organically and proven to be of value to the consumers of the things affected by those specific ideas. When humans have awakened to threats (real or perceived) to this organic progress, well, we're animals and we have the potential for animalistic savagery, guided by our particular cleverness... Sic semper tyrannis...
