To the best of our understanding, nothing even remotely like the relentless assaults the Abrahamic religions have inflicted on humanity has ever been seen in the whole of human history. We can't be completely sure though because between them, they've destroyed virtually everything they came across when it came to the written word. Only Communism comes close in it's appetite for destroying all records of what came before.
