the monetization of everything...especially leisure. when I say monetization I mean " has been enveloped into the tax and power game. In the 90's I would spend $200 to have a decent sized stash for birthdays , new years and various other celebrations. I stopped getting them a few years back as I just can't justify the cost today. It's literally just setting your money on fire for a few seconds worth of enjoyment .
